In June 1998, Dr. Shikare established the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Al-Zahra Hospital in Sharjah, UAE, where he continues to serve as Consultant and Head. Under his leadership, the department has grown into one of the most advanced nuclear medicine facilities in the region, known for offering cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Before joining Al-Zahra Hospital, Dr. Shikare held key academic and clinical roles, including:

  • Associate Professor & Lecturer of Nuclear Medicine Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Bombay, India Dr. Shikare spent seven years in academic medicine, where he contributed significantly to the field of nuclear medicine through teaching and research.
